Five Steps to Your Seat
Admissions to all diploma programmes run through the Maharashtra DTE centralised process. Here is the route, start to finish.
Register on the DTE Portal
Register for centralised diploma admissions on the official DTE Maharashtra portal and complete every field carefully.
Fill the Online Application
Select G.M. Chaudhari Polytechnic, Shahada as your preferred institution, then choose your preferred diploma programme.
Document Verification
After seat allotment, report to the college with originals and photocopies of all required documents to confirm your admission.
Fee Payment & Enrolment
Pay the prescribed fees as per DTE norms. Eligible candidates can apply for government scholarships through the State portal.

What You Need to Apply
Eligibility at a Glance
First year, post-SSC Diploma in Engineering / Technology.
- Passed SSC (Std. X) from any recognised board.
- Subjects: Mathematics + Science + English are mandatory.
- Minimum 35% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- Must be an Indian National; Maharashtra State domicile applies to the State quota seats.
Direct Second Year (Lateral) Entry
Seats equal to 20% of the sanctioned intake are available over and above the sanctioned intake for direct admission to the second year of the post-SSC full-time diploma programmes. Candidates need H.S.C. (Science), H.S.C. (Science with Vocational / Technical subjects), MCVC, or a 10+2 year I.T.I. with a centre-of-excellence course. Branch eligibility follows MSBTE guidelines.
